Immortality

Updated: Apr 3

Have you ever felt an inner conflict, a longing to escape the difficulties of this world and return 'home'?

Many of us on a spiritual journey experience this, especially when we feel disconnected from the present moment. In reality, 'home' is where we are right now, within our own bodies.

There's nowhere else to go, nothing else to chase. The only reality is here and now, in this very moment. Embracing what is, accepting our current feelings within our bodies, and surrendering to the present moment can be a powerful path towards transcendence.

When we disconnect from our bodies, we detach from our emotions. We resist pain, reject the flow of life, and as a result, we suffer. What we resist persists.

I used to think my ungroundedness was due to my spirituality, but I eventually realized it was my attachment to the material aspects of myself—my body, emotions, and thoughts. I was avoiding the pain within my body and evading life's challenges.

True spirituality involves fully embodying the understanding that we are immortal beings. It means not avoiding the human experience, experiencing life without resistance, and being fully engaged without becoming entangled in it.

This mandala has brought profound truths to light for me, cutting through the lies I told myself. It wasn't an easy process.

Did any of my experiences resonate with you? If you want to explore your own truths and face your shadow self, I invite you to connect with this mandala.

You can gaze at it, close your eyes, visualize it enveloping your body, and consciously breathe. Allow whatever arises to surface and accept it with inner serenity.

If you'd like to have this mandala in your home or workspace, you can obtain a reprint of it from:
